Screw you comfort zone

Excuse me, I don’t need your permission! Many times people seek others for permission to do what God has place inside of them to do. I have realized that the only thing stopping me is me. One day I got sick of watching others living the dream that I desired. I didn’t get bitter but I became hungry. I stepped out of my comfort zone and started chasing my own dreams. Although, I am not where I want to be, I would like to say I am doing a DAMN (excuse my French) good job getting there. I promise I am humble and anyone that know me will vouch that I never take the time out to embrace my accomplishments. I just move on to the next goal that I have in mind. For some reason my brain is always on to the next thing. For a minute I need to celebrate ME! (Moment of silence) inserts confetti 🎊! I traveled to France for two weeks with a group of strangers, who turned out to be pretty amazing. I am an extrovert and a introvert which means I am usually shy around new people. However, I came out of my shell, lol I talked to as many strangers that I could. I had the time of my life while fulfilling one of my deepest desire, which was to go to Paris and see the Eiffel Tower!

Then, I come back in town and leave out a couple days later to go camping with my EGL family. For those of you who don’t know I am the associate editor for the modern domestic section of is founded by Yandy Smith and Latoya Bond. Over the past weekend the entire team met for the first time and hung out.

We were so LIT! We played bonding games and went ziplining! πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ˜ I have some great things coming that I won’t speak about but just know God is literally guiding me! You wouldn’t understand the length of this passage if you’ve never had to watch everyone be blessed while you’re still crying out for a miracle. If you never had to pray for others and see your prayers go through for them but still hopeless await on your own to be answered then you won’t understand…One day I will tell the world more about my long road to success but today I am embracing the moment. Although, nothing will humble you like having a lit three weeks and have to return back to your 9 to 5! One day soon this lit life will be full time!

Hiya πŸ™‚ fellow spies! I know I mention in a previous post about me traveling to France but I never let you all know that I am here. Yep, I have been here for 8 days! Let’s just say it’s very different and the language barrier doesn’t make it any easier. Today, I traveled to Samour, France by train. This was my first time traveling on a train and I slept the entire way. Sleep is foreign here….well in my room it is. It’s a bit challenging because i have never experienced the “college experience.” Therefore, sharing personal space for me is kind of hard.

Here I am 30 and proud πŸ™‚ trying to manage life with students that are 6 or 7 years younger than I am. I mean the things they are doing now, I have already done. Those drunken nights doesn’t quite excite me anymore and I don’t have the strength to party every night. However, I remember a time when I could party every night of the week and go back to normal as if nothing has ever happen. Let’s just say hangovers aren’t my thing and I have to have 8 hours of rest or else I am a…..fill in the blank.

Although, I am enjoying France,I would be lying if I said, I can’t wait until I am back in America.

Romphim: Male Rompers

The internet is in an uproar due to the new trend of male rompers. Male rompers are short overalls that many women wear. I have noticed an ongoing trend of men clothing becoming more feminine. Menswear has changed over the years from skinny jeans to heterosexual men wearing women’s clothing and calling it okay.  So I wonder what the big deal is about the male romper? I mean men are already wearing kilts, dresses and any other women’s article they can find.

Honestly, I am not totally against the male romper. I believe that style is all about how you rock it.

I know the masses is against the male romper and I am not really sold. Well I don’t want my man to wear it but I am not totally against the male romphim.

Now we are all entitled to our own opinions so please voice yours in the comment section. Are you into the male romper or are you against it and why? Please be aware stating that a man who wears a male romper is gay isn’t a great reason!

Skin Care Review: Hydra V

For the longest I have suffered from the oily skin blues. I mean nothing I did would stop my face from getting oily. However, I started using topi clear which is a bar soap and it started drying my face out. πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈ Then, I discovered Hydra V by artistry. I have been using this product for almost a month and I can see some great results.

When I first started using the product I had a lot of blemishes on my face from popping bumps. My skin has gotten lighter and I can see the results. However, I did experience a slight breakout.

I’m not sure why I started to breakout but I continue to use the products and I am no longer breaking out. The products consist of an facial foam cleaner, toner, refreshing gel (This feels amazing after you wash your face) and my favorite the color corrector!

My favorite is the spot corrector product. I am slowly seeing my spots fade which was my number one concern. Thank you Akai Tokyo for allowing me the opportunity to try out your products. If you’re interested in purchasing these products all info is listed below.

Pre-voyage post!Β

The time has finally come and I am full of mix emotions. I’ve dreamed of one day traveling to France and visiting the Eiffel Tower. However, I didn’t know that it would be a reality. I’ve travel afar to Europe before and I enjoyed visiting cities like Venice,Austria, and Switzerland. The experience was very enriching and I was itching for another stamp. Traveling gives me new inspiration. It allows me to view things differently. Taken notice of the citizens of each country gives me and opportunity to study their body language and how they move or react to things. Soooo what I like to people watch! πŸ™„πŸ•΅πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ•΅πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ•΅πŸ½β€β™€οΈ

I recommend traveling to a place you’ve never been before because the jewels you gain are priceless. However, the only negative things is packing. I’ve no idea what not to pack because it looks like I need everything!

I have literally packed for three seasons. I’ve two days to eliminate some items. 😩 I’ll update you before I leave!

Thank you for reading.
